The Lifting Up of our Spirits in music for the season of Lent: "Sacrae Passionis Concentus»
This year the Papal Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi also offers a spiritual itinerary for the Season of Lent through music and prayer with "Sacrae Passionis Concentus» [link: http://www.corosanfrancescoassisi.org/sacrae-passionis-Musicus-2017/].
The dates for the sixth edition of the musical review are scheduled for three evenings ...
The first evening, Saturday, March 11, will be presented by the Chamber Choir of the Musical Chapel of the Papal Basilica of Saint Francis, as directed by Fr. Giuseppe Magrino OFM Conv.
The second evening, Saturday, March 18, will feature the female vocal ensemble, I Cantori del Borgo (The Singers of Borgo), from the Village of Sansepolcro in the Italian Province of Arezzo.
The third and final evening will be Saturday March 25 with the choir, "AURORA", from Bastia Umbra, Perugia.
All events will be held in the lower Church of the Basilica of Saint Francis at 18.00 (6 p.m.). Admission is free.
